Edit added the 20 new moons as of 10-24 --- Edit on 07-27-2018 sync to MY copy BUT for some reason ( one that comes out of the SOUTH end of a North facing cow ) Google docs wants to server out MICROSOFT MS office ©™ *.DOCX ©™ formatted files docx files have formatting that is VERY WRONG and NEVER will work Because of this the ssc files are NOW zipped Google drive " Saturn.ssc" https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jU65t2 ... sp=sharing you will need a few files ### ftp://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/pub/eph/planets/bsp/de438.bsp ### ftp://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/pub/eph/satellit ... t360xl.bsp ### https://naif.jpl.nasa.gov/pub/naif/gene ... sat368.bsp ### https://naif.jpl.nasa.gov/pub/naif/gene ... -merge.bsp ### ftp://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/pub/eph/satellit ... sat428.bsp "sat363-rocks-merge.bsp" needs to be updated you already have de438.bsp from here ftp://naif.jpl.nasa.gov/pub/naif/generi ... atellites/ And the files for the rotation models you already have " pck00010.tpc , naif0012.tls" a bit of a small warning The ssc file on my google drive is using my maps , it is just a copy of the section of the file i am using so you will need to replace then with the map of your choice. the setup is just like Jupiter with all the moons, and they are a lot of them . the before and after spice orbits are from JPL Horizons web interface For Jupiter a practiced with telnet the moon before and after parts are what takes time to configure and this is where a rather complex ( cross platform) perl script might come in handy as with Jupiter the moons of Saturn also need a bit of refining the radius or SemiAxes values need a bit of checking i used the values in the pck00010.tpc and cpck_rock_21Jan2011_merged.tpc when they were defined. |

When I use this spice I have problems with Janus, Epimetheus and Hyperion models, only when I delete Spice rotation then is fine. That's strange. |

i have not posted updates to this recently you might have a issue with the leapsecond file the current is "naif0012.tls" make sure that this is used for Hyperion Code: SpiceRotation
{ Kernel [ "pck00010.tpc" "naif0012.tls" ] Frame "IAU_HYPERION" |

Quote: Does the system still move? there is no real slowdown , drawing the orbits dose take a few seconds , on par with Jupiter . |
