Fenerit,

never mind, this is just due to the fact that you are "Never at rest" ;-) .

Seriously, I deleted my answer again, since I was unsure about one aspect of the garbage bin. We can always tell our charming BOSS Mona L. that people are NOT allowed to post in the garbage bin, but unacceptable posts may always be moved there, of course...

F.

Ok, Fridger. I'm asking for "the unacceptable posts" were that of which is spoken in the guideline, because if they have images... beh, you have understood...

Don't worry...Mona L. will blush after inspecting these images and then wuffff they will be in NIRVANA...And as I said noone will be able to post these images anyway. Don't forget Mona L. is so powerful: she can also delete things right away, without placing them into the garbage bin ;-)

But for the time being, let us assume that all our visitors are really nice people...

Bye Fridger

I'm just curious about this... If a post is objectionable enough to get placed in the garbage bin, isn't it
objectionable enough to simply get deleted? In other words, why would you re-post an objectionable
message somewhere else where EVERYONE is going to want to read it?

Am I missing something here? The only objectionable post I've seen so far was promptly deleted, along
with my friendly post to Miss Lisa which was NOT objectionable at all.

Confused yet? Brother...

I tend to agree with you, Bob. But you see, we made the Bin more to show that a message *could* be deleted than to create a museum of deleted posts. I am not sure it serves much of a function in this group, since most of our members knows each other somewhat, and brings with them an established culture for posting. It was mostly meant as a deterrent for total newbies...

Hello everyone. I just wanted to take the time to say hi and thank everyone for their efforts here and at shatters.net. I've been using Celestia for a few years and am continually amazed by the program and the work you all have contributed.

I would also like to thank Dr. Schrempp for his amazing texture tools; they truly are a god-send. I've been using the F-TexTools for a couple of days and cannot believe how fast they are- and easy! I have the nm tools as well, but will have to wait until I can download the large files; I'm on dial-up. :P

Thanks again!
Jim
