Hiya, while I know adding "CloudShadowDepth <value>" adds cloud shadows to a planet with appropriately drawn cloud textures, I am unsure as to what exactly it does for values other than one. Is it an opacity/transparency control (eg, how dark they appear) or does it tell Celestia to do something else with the shadows?

Mine does not work either, because I'm using a poor netbook... It does not support OpenGL 2.0 at all... I think this parameter should work on other machines. Though I've never tried to modify the value, I tend to think it's used to define the shadow of the clouds that is drawn on the earth. As far as I'm concerned...
