Although I don't subscribe fully to his postulates, I am curious what our system would have looked like on Celestia and the possible sequences of interactions. Has anyone tried to develop this?

it would not do much

having Venus spin off of Saturn and settle in it's current orbit

still keeps things basically the same

now

Venus is "odd" and something happened recently to resurface it and cause it to rotate backwards and it's day to be a bit longer than it's year

I'm thinking more along the lines where he postulates Mars was where Venus is, and what sling-shot parameters would be required to perform the swap of orbits. Disregarding the obvious catastrophic damage this scenario would do of course. Interesting Sci-Fi story in my opinion, but would like to see what it would look like.
