Believe me, I understand. Will continue to wait with anticipation. I'd do it myself, but obviously I have NO skill in this area.

Thanks, Bob

Please PM away my friend...
I obviously have self-gratification in mind here because I want to see your absolutely beautiful renditions on my machine...

And I honestly mean what I said. Anything that this Brain-Dead Bozo can help you with, please just let me know.

Okay, here's a little something that might help just a wee bit...
The following zipped PDF document contains a bit of detailed information concerning the placement of springs, hinges and detonators for the SLA panels. It ain't much, but it is the kind of detailed information you are looking for, I believe. Have a look at pages 9 and 10 of the document, and the rest of it is kind of interesting too.

Download from my web site by clicking on link HERE. Is 2.53MB in size.

The problem for me Bob is that I have to understand the structure of those system to depict them quite accurately. For this again, nothing is better than some close up shots, detailed drawing or real blue print. The drawing from those manuals sometimes help, sometimes not much. In the case of your last doc, I find one or two bits of the puzzle; not bad, but if you still want to dig, don't stop! ;)

Appreciate the model here Chris...
And, just so you know about it, I have still heard nothing from the NASA contact I told you about in my PM. I guess they don't care if it's my tax dollars paying for their salaries.

Thanks, Bob

Tx anyway to try.

BTW, I've just uploaded a new archive with the right radius. If you don't want to re download, just change the radius in the ssc to 0.0097.

Okay, thanks again...
BTW, do you suppose that you could create a model (using what you have of course) which depicts just the part of the LEM which remained on the Moon? Would be very nice to use this rendition instead of the rather crude model I have already. I realize it is more work, but I cannot figure out how to do this myself for a CMOD. I can do it for a 3ds file, but not for a CMOD.

Thanks again for all of your work here. It is very much appreciated.

You mean the descent stage. If you can wait a bit, perhaps this week I'll release this model in two pieces, AS and DS + a final CSM. This way those who want to play with those models for rendez-vous and else will be free to do so.

Would be happy to wait until you have the time, my friend. No hurry at all. Who knows? Maybe I'll finally get some more information from NASA...
Thanks very much once again, Bob
