I will be busy next 2 weeks so I guess I won't be able to work on it... :(

Anyway I cannot resist posting another shot; I like it well becuase of the contrast between the complexity of the Russian part (Zvezda/Pirs/Progress) and the shuttle very smooth...

Christophe, I found a lot of big ISS images (all are 3000x2000 pixel!), so I tried a way to show you them, in oredr to allow you to chose what of them you could use.
So I started preparing some images that show a first group of them, in smaller size, so to be shown in CM.
Here the first eighteen ISS images:

As you see most of them are of the truss, then some very detailed images of Solar Panels, and a couple with DEXTRE at work.
Tell me if this way of informing is OK for you, otherwise suggest me another solution, please.
Bye

Andrea :D

Nice! I tink I have some of them, perhaps not in 3k but quite high res; anyway if I put a n° like this on your montage,

Code:
1  |  2
3  |  4

5  |  6
7  |  8

etc

I'd like a closer look on 1, 2 (for the lights and back of radiators), 8 (for CETA), 12 (lights, antennas and details), 15 (for the canadarm support -still need some work), 18 (for panel textures)...

Happy for this, so the tedious work of looking at some thousand images was worth the time spent.
But now the usual problem: where can I upload them?
My web space is filled-up, so cannot upload there.
Any idea, suggestion, or else?
Bye

Have you tried the CM web interface?

Direct links are almost possible, because I check, one after the other, a lot (hundreds!) of thumbnails, then I open the ones that IMO might be interesting, each in another page, where it appear enlarged, so that I can decide if it is worth to be downloaded or not.
If yes, I open the hi-res image, check it once again, and finally download it on my HD.
To spend less time, I follow a repetitive protocol, so that I check 25 images at a time.
For this reason I miss along the way the images addresses, sorry.

Regarding the CM Web interface, I tried it once, a week ago, when you told me it the first time, but without results.
I was thinking it was due to Firefox, so I tried the same with Explorer, same result.
Surely I'm doing something wrong, so I'll give it a try once again.
I'll inform you on the results.
Bye soon (I hope).

And here:

http://www.celestialmatters.org/sites/d ... ELS-1A.rar
http://www.celestialmatters.org/sites/d ... ELS-1B.rar

are the addresses where you can download the original size (3K) images.
Both .rar files are about 4.5 MB.
Bye

I have some more stuff for you.
Now each 4-images mosaic has its own number at the center, so you can identify the requested images as follows:
image #
A | B
-----------
C | D

Let's go:

Voilà, hope you'll like them!
In images 7-A/B/C/D you can see unusual views of PIRS, and in 7/A the back of Soyuz, too.
More to be shown tomorrow.
Bye

Christophe, we are timed in an exact way, because I'll have time to dig for another week, then I'll be heavily occupied for a couple weeks, so I'll prepare material for you now that I can.
Requested images are going to be uploaded in a short time.
Bye

OK, after a short while with CM OFF, now I've been able to upload the requested images, that you can find here:
