Apparently we had a visitor from out of town.
Came in from near Lyra, and is headed outward toward Pegasus.

Just wondering of anyone has any orbit data and knows how to add it?

I am curios and would like to use celestia to visualize its path.
Not sure on date or data limitations since it is a one time occurrence.

Certainly, since a number of days, Guillermo Abramson and myself are working on dealing with the hyperbolic orbit (eccentricity > 1) and some bugs in the code. We have two threads open about A/2017 U1. Note the object was first misinterpreted as a comet (designated as C/2017 U1) and then very recently recognized and renamed as an asteroid (A/2017 U1).

You find links to the orbit data sources in there as well.
